  • I also visited Maladinha Nova in 2006 in which we booked lunch on their estate along with the tour. The variety of tapas-style appetizers and roasted black pork was incredible with their white and reds, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and it's one of the most vibrant memories I have of a winery here :)
  • What a wonderful label :-)
Do you know who is the author ?

    Cheers, Fil.
  • It's the owners children who do all of the labels. Wonderfully playful and simple.
  • Hey Ryan,

I actually heard about the survey on Fermentation first (just the order in which I read my blogs). Perhaps you could answer my question.

What sample size are you waiting to accomplish before you consider it a sufficient measurement for your survey?

PS-- Agree with Filippo, the label is charming.
  • Had the 2003 some six months ago and it was absolutely delicious. Feel the wines from Portugal, specially Alentejo and Douro, require at least some 4 to 5 years to really show their full personality. Indredible how elegant and harmonious this wine was! Very rich, with round and silky tannins, wish I had a few more because this one and only bottle I had, ended way too fast. By the way, the labels are drawings made by the kids in the family, this shows a lot about who they are and what they up to. Salud!
