We've actually had it the last two years for New Year's Eve. I'd have to look at my notes to see what they were but I remember enjoying them. Looking forward to all you cover in the coming month.

Re: The End of Port and the Beginning of Cava

I LOVE Cava. I'm so happy that you will be enjoying oodles of cava with us this month and encourage you to ask any questions that fit your fancy. We will be heading to the DO Cava on Monday in Villafranca, followed by a visit to a cava cave! All very exciting.

Bill: We will be happy to give you information on Parxet. Let's see if we can't contact them directly to get more info for you. And hopefully, by the end of the month, we can get you drinking more cava !

As for the photos, I was thinking of having them as our Christmas card photo for this year. What do you think? We've at least got the purple/red holiday color going on :-)

Re: The End of Port and the Beginning of Cava

Gabriella:

Could I suggest using the photos for next year's Halloween cards? :)

Re: The End of Port and the Beginning of Cava

Richard: I love cava too!!! I really enjoyed their Cuvee 21. I'd like more information their other cavas. I don't drink much sparkling wine, but I did buy two of the Cuvee 21's last summer and you've provided a good reason to pop a cork or two.

Lovely photos, by the way.

Re: The End of Port and the Beginning of Cava

Please give us some information on Parxet. I even prefer it to most Champagnes. I have brought Cava to a number of parties and many people have enjoyed it as well. I even turned one local restaurant on it and they started using Cava as their house sparkling wine rather than Champagne.

And in about two weeks, my newspaper column will be on Champagne/Sparkling wine recommendations for the holidays and I will definitely be recommending Cava.

Re: The End of Port and the Beginning of Cava

I love Cava.
