Vitor Mendes · 1 year agoWell Ryan, you just have to tell me when do you want for more of Cozido à Portuguesa, because although beeing a great traditional dish, your face while eating it was something to remeber... i am convinced that probbly you may have some portuguese ancesters... have you thought of that? Jose · 1 year agoSo... it's a sort of cocido/cozido. Didn't you tasted ever any of the traditional spanish cocidos? It looks quite similar both sides of the border... Regards, Jose

I still haven't tried Cozido yet but you know what, all the local restaurants around here will post a sign on the window when they have it on the menu that day, just gotta get among the locals! I know what you mean about the potatoes, every time I get them with lunches here, they look so plain and sad but they taste so friggin good and melt in your mouth because they cook them to death in that kind of broth also! Now I definitely have to get up north soon where hopefully it's a bit cooler there right now to enjoy such a stew :p
