Catavino: Thank you Wine Bloggers, Rioja, and Fate - EWBC 2008 a Success Story

It was one of the most interesting and better organized conferences I have ever been to. To be able to finally meet some of the people I talk to everyday was an incredible experience that is certainly going to make all of us discuss in an even more open way. Congratulations to the sponsors for believing and support such a ground-breaking group of people and congratulations to the wineries that made it to the conference for having a vision, for wanting to know more and for believing that participation is the way to go. Thanks Ryan, Gabriella and Robert for the hard work you put into such a fantastic event! André

Many, many thanks to Gabriella, Ryan and Robert. The EWBC 08 was really amazing. 100/100 points to the organization of the event. It was wonderful to meet all the bloggers and speak with them about what we are doing in this moment. There is a HUGE POTENTIAL in this group. Let's see what we can do together this year before the EWBC 09... almost too tired to think, but excited at the same time. It was a great weekend. Thanks to you guys, the sponsors, everyone who turned up and the people, wines and hospitality of Rioja! Now, a quick kip!

Gabriella, Ryan, Thanks so much for doing such a wonderful job organising this event. I had been looking forward to attending but it exceeded my expectations ten-fold. I am so happy to have met so many wonderful people and to hear what they are all doing and their ideas and plans for the future. The Conference has been a great base for building future debate and for working as a cohesive group. Many congratulations.

Robert, Ryan and I really appreciate your willingness to come and support us. I know it took a huge leap of faith, but you all did it, and we thank you!!

Great job guys. Super conference - very well organized and right on the money (I mean relevant, not cheap, although it was, of course, stonkingly good VFM too).
