Catavino: Spanish Bodega Profile - Dominio Dostares Valencia de Don Juan - Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León

I have had one wine before that used the Prieto Picudo varietal, the Villacezan Seis Meses Tierra De Leon. I thought this was an excellent wine with a more unusual taste. It had a good nose, some nice dark fruit flavors with sufficient tannins to give it some structure. I will definitely look for the wines that you mention here.

I highly suggest these wines. They are not only unique, but they are memorable in that they are well made and incredibly tasty. If you do come across them, please let me know what your thoughts are as I would be really interested to hear your take on them!
