It's very important having native speaker when you do this kind of work.

What was the last botle you opened?

  • Maybe there´s a way you could help me out? I´m always open to suggestions.

My last bottle, Finca Luzon, Jumilla, 100% monastrell, and yours?

Will you visit Alimentaria in Barcelona?

  • Emilio - I will be in Alemenataria, will you? If so we should meet up one day. As far as what I've been drinking, lots and lots of Alentejo wines this past week. Stay tuned for a long list of tasting notes.

  • I will be the whole week at Alimentaria. When I´m not walking around, you can find me at Intervin, Palacio 2 stand nº B790, nº 14, for at the regional stand of Castilla La Mancha for Cooperative Santa Quiteria, from the Higueruela/tintoralba wines.

About the Portuguese wines I don´t know much. However, everytime I do taste them I´m surprised. Like last time at Iberwine, a tasting of white wines. See following link of my collegue Aad van de Werf, a Portugal specialist.

    Last days, tasted:

Navarra, Otazu Chardonnay 2003 FB, regular, lack of freshness.

Alicante Beryna, 03 Monastrell & others varieties, very nice, asks for a rich meal.

Calatayud Baltasar Garcian viñas viejas Garnacha, nice P/Q. Elegant wine.

I bought the last 2 wines at a new wine shop in Alicante. Surprisingly good wines and food. I have forgotten the name, but it´s near to the train station.

Hope to welcome you at Alimentaria.
