    When I lived in Madrid, eating seedless grapes was considered cheating!

    One of my resolutions for 2009 is to drink more fino. Sherry is (finally) becoming more available in the U.S. so I look forward to buying bottles that aren't covered in dust. Today's NY Times has a good article for sherry novices

    R&G, In the for what it's worth category, you may be happy to know that quite a few sherries made the WS "100 Best Values" list this year.

    It is a lovely tradition. I hope you will see your wishes come true, even if most of them look more like new year's resolutions ;)
